Designed for endurance
We manufacture wire springs based on final application. This means we factor in spring load, endurance and operating environment.
From stainless steel springs, galvanized wire springs and beryllium copper to chrome silicon, chrome vanadium, hard drawn wire, hastelloy, inconel, monel, music wire, nitinol, oil tempered, phosphor bronze, and titanium, we can accommodate wire sizes from .015″ up to .312″ in diameter.

Quality to the finish
Through our trusted supplier network, we provide an extensive array of coatings and finishes for your wire spring design including anodizing, bead blasting, citric and nitric passivation, cleaning – conventional and ultrasonic, color coding, deburr – vibratory and tumble, electro polish, laser etching, powder-coating, rust preventative, shot peening, stress relieving and heat treating.

Standard or custom
We manufacture compression springs, extension springs and torsion springs. Open ended, close ended, and combination ended compression spring configurations are offered. Extension springs are available with different end configurations such as center hooks, side hooks, extended hooks, combination hooks, and custom shapes.
Need a bit of ingenuity or inspiration? Our in-house engineering department can help design your part to meet your specifications. With an eye to efficiency and budget requirement, we can support you in the design process to ensure you achieve your desired outcome.

Controlling tooling costs
We’ve mastered the art of saving you money. Our ever-expanding line of four-slides and CNC machines enables efficient production and quicker delivery for large and repeat orders. This avoids costly tooling. In many cases, several operations can be performed all on one machine.
From basic and stainless steels to modern alloys such as monel, inconel, and even precious metals, Automatic Specialties, Inc. will meet and exceed your wire spring design expectations.
